Roto Grip Rubicon Bowling Ball Features:
The Rubicon is unique as the only asymmetrical offering in Roto Grip’s current HP3 line. Its new Rondure core design is wrapped in the latest version of the e-Trax coverstock, which is a step down from the MicroTrax cover used on the UFO. This solid cover is finished at the factory with a 3000 grit pad for added traction, and it has no trouble at all handling oil.
Engineered for those Medium to Medium-Heavy Oil conditions, Roto Grip felt it was an absolute must to provide added core technology in this line in order to create advanced ball motion since balance holes are no longer legal in sanctioned competition.
A drastic departure from Roto’s traditional symmetrical core or symmetrical weightblock designs in the HP3 line, the asymmetrical Rondure Core was developed to increase overall ball motion throughout the lane without the aid of an added balance hole. Making this part stronger than a symmetrical core, but not quite as strong as their traditional asymmetrical core designs.
Featuring their most recent formulation of eTrax solid coverstock technology, this cover is easily sanded or easily polished in order to meet your needs on a variety of conditions without losing traction and responsiveness to friction.
