How about we told you we could make the Evil Eye even better? Radical is stoked to announce a new addition to the Top-Shelf line, the Vexed! This asymmetrical version of the Evil Eye uses the same tech that made the original one of the hottest balls on the market, with some tweaks to make it a great complement.
The Vexed has an Rg of 2.49, an intermediate differential of .012, and a total differential of .036, resulting in a differential ratio of 3 to 1 – the sweet spot for differential ratios. The Vexed’s drilling numbers pick up where the Evil Eye’s left off. While the Evil Eye’s intermediate differential ranged from a low of .007 to a high of .023, the Vexed ranges from a low of .008 to a high of .029.
The drilling instructions for the Vexed are based on the same concept as the Evil Eye, taking into account thumb hole placement. Both balls use drilling into the core protrusion to dictate performance; the Vexed core allows for more motion down the lane, making it the perfect complement.
Testers found that compared to the Evil Eye, the Vexed offers increased overall hook and sharper backend motion due to the stronger core and upgraded HK22C+ cover. They all agreed that the Vexed and the Evil Eye are a perfect one-two punch.
